For centuries olive oil has been used to enhance beauty by many men and women across the globe. This oil is not only good for the skin but also does wonders to the hair. From conditioning and giving shine to the hair, this vitamin E and anti oxidants rich oil also helps in getting a radiant complexion. Olive oil is not only restricted for beauty purpose but it is an excellent oil for cooking, protecting the skin both from the inside and outside.

  2. Massage your face for 10 minutes with olive oil and wash away with lukewarm water before going to bed everyday. Soon you will find your acne scars fade away.   4. Olive oil is the best eye makeup remover! If used regularly it will not only soften the area around eyes but will also delay wrinkles.
  5. Stretch marks? Mix olive oil and cocoa powder in equal proportion and apply on the effected are everyday. Within a week you will see the difference.
  6. For moist cuticles and shiny nails, rub a few drops of olive oil in your hands. Suffering from dry hands and brittle nails? Soak your hands in lukewarm water with olive oil mixed in it.
  7. Mix sea salt and olive oil in equal quantities and scrub on face to remove dead skin cells and get a glowing skin. This is an excellent scrub for people who have dry skin.
  8. Substitute olive oil with shaving cream. The oil will soften the hair and make shaving easier leaving the skin shining.
  9. Drop a few drops of olive oil in your bath to make skin soften after the bath.
  10. If you have split ends or brittle hair, mix egg with olive oil and massage in your hair. Leave it for 30 minutes and wash your hair.
  11. Use olive oil during pedicure to massage feet. This will not only help in relaxing but will also soften your feet.
  12. You can even remove lice from your hair using olive oil!! generously apply olive oil on head and leave it overnight. 8- 10 hours minimum (do wrap your head with a towel.) Wash your hair next day. Repeat this process once in a week and soon your hair will be lice free!
  13. Suffering from chapped lips? Apply olive oil and leave it overnight.
  14. Moisturize your body by applying olive oil and water mixed in equal portion.
  15. Feeling tired? Pour 1/4 cup of olive oil in your bath tub and a few drops of essential oil. This bath will not only relax you but also make your skin soft and supple.

I use olive oil on my skin and hair and love the results! It really works on my skin. It makes my skin look more youthful and it also helps smooth out fine lines and acne scarring.

I only use it at night though because it makes me smell like a salad. :)
